At least 65% of Americans are overweight and others obese.  The number is expected to increase!  We have grown accustomed to a lifestyle that has become unhealthy and deadly for many.  Diseases such as Diabetes 2, stroke, heart disease, high cholesterol, some cancers, high blood pressure and others have been linked to being overweight.  Ask yourself this question.  How many overweight elderly people do you see walking around today?  Not many!  That is something to think about. Your health should be top priority in your life because when you become older, you will either be dependent or independent.  You will end up spending thousands of dollars on medical bills when you should be using your money in other ways.  You do not have to age that way.  Take a stand now for your own health's sake.  It is up to you!

Some will say that people should accept them for who they are.  Well, being unhealthy is not good for any person, and anyone promoting that being overweight is ok is a liar.  Professionals in the fitness and medical community know this to be true.  I am here to help you take better care of yourself.  It is not about your appearance.  It is about your health!!! 

Make the decision today to say to yourself that you are ready and willing to start living a healthier life.  You only have one body, and you had better maintain it if you want it to take care of you.  Keep your body strong by eating healthy, exercise and get plenty of rest.  Invest in yourself if you think you are worth it!
